Eugene Grey, Elixar Manumen, Gardyè Hood, and Garth Hol were all once very good friends that felt like brothers and grew up in the North together. They were all little kids who just wanted to have fun but kept getting into trouble. As they grew into teenagers and started developing new ways to adapt into the the real world and learn common sense about what's right and what's wrong, they would start training with the elders in the North. From there on, each of them trained everyday with different teachers and were getting better at what they were doing. Eugene and Elixar both chose to be a swordsman while Gardyè did archery and Garth chose to be a warrior. After the training and being able to surpass their fathers, they have shown that they are capable enough of being able to take care of themselves when in difficult situations. Their fathers then started having lots of disagreements with each other which then lead to the break up of the crew. Elixar and his family fled to the South, Gardyè and his family flew to the East, and Garth and his family migrated to the West. While the others went on to live in different kingdoms, Eugene and his family stayed put in the North because Eugene's father was the king of the North.
